Safety Policy

Our Safety Policy is dedicated to ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all employees, subcontractors, property owners and visitors working on projects conducted by Double L Roofing Inc. This safety policy establishes procedures and responsibilities to minimize and eliminate workplace hazards and comply with applicable safety legislation, Double L Roofing Inc. Safety Policy is developed in accordance with regulations set by Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Alberta.  

Worker Competency & Training

We ensure all workers are trained in fall protection, ladder safety, equipment usage, and emergency rescue procedures including Identifying site-specific dangers like overhead power lines, and unguarded edges before work begins. These procedures include to postpone work during high winds, lightning, or heavy rain/snow. 

Our commitment to hazard elimination  

Double L Roofing Inc. emphasize regular, up-to-date training for employees, including WHMIS, First Aid, and specific fall protection training. Employees are required to conduct formal, documented hazard assessments prior to starting work, identifying potential dangers and creating plans to eliminate or control them resulting in a safe and secure workplace.
